Yee Hung (Luk) Fong, 62, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late Ka Wah Fong (2012), passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Hong Kong, the daughter of Sui Fong (Yuen) Luk of Hong Kong and the late Pui Sang Luk, she came to the United States in 1988 and settled in Vernon. Yee enjoyed cooking and being with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Ida Tang and her husband Calvin of Feeding Hills, MA, and Jenny Besaw and her husband Michael of Ellington; four grandchildren, Andrew and Kaylee Tang and Preston and Abigail Besaw; four siblings, Kam Hung Luk, and Yee Ling Luk both of Hong Kong, Kam Keung Luk of Vernon, and Yee Ping Luk of Hong Kong and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11 – 12 noon at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12 NOON. Burial will follow in Valley Falls Cemetery, Vernon.
