Timothy Richard Kovitch, 37, of Bristol, beloved husband of Melanie (Vickrey) Kovitch, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home. He was born October 2, 1978 in Bristol to Richard and Carol (Michaud) Kovitch. Tim had worked in sales most of his career, most recently with A & A Surplus in Plantsville. He had grown up in Burlington attending local schools and had a talent for snowboarding and skateboarding in his younger years. He loved cars, cooking, fishing, but really enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered for so many things but especially his selflessness. He was always there to help anyone who needed it. In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his daughters, Elsie Kovitch and Alexa Vega, his dog Buster, his sister, Leanne Benoist and her husband Charles of West Hartford; his niece, Celeste Benoist and his nephew, Lazare Benoist, his in-laws, Marylou & Edward Foster of Windsor and sisters-in-law Jennifer Vickrey of Florida, Natalie Vickrey of Maryland and Christiana Vickrey of Connecticut, father-in-law Richard Vickrey of Connecticut. He also leaves aunts, uncles, other relatives and close friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 10 am, at St. Gregory the Great Church, 235 Maltby St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, from 5-8 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Rd., Avon.
