Stanley J. Swart, 58, of Granby, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Born in Hartford, son of the late Stanley and Mae (DeFronzo) Swart, he lived most all his life in the Granby area. He was a stone mason for many years with Blue Stone Masonry. Stanley had a heart of gold and was always the life of the party. It came easy to him making everyone around him laugh with his powerful sense of humor, and he will forever be remembered that way. He leaves two daughters Sheana M. Swart of Southwick, MA and Alisha A. Swart of Berlin; two sisters Donna Wirkkala (Mike) and Pollyann Swart both of West Palm Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Philip T. Swart. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Hayes Huling & Carmon Funeral Home of Granby is caring for the arrangements.
