Stanislawa (Polewacz) Miroslaw, 89, of South Windsor died peacefully at home on May 31, 2017. Born in Grale Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jozef and Rozalia (Grala) Polewacz and was the beloved wife of the late Stanistaw Miroslaw. She emigrated to the United States in 1990 from Gdansk, Poland, where she lived for many years. Stanislawa was kind, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Church in Hartford, where she participated with the Holy Rosary Society. She leaves behind her children; Aleksandra Prusaczyk and her husband Stanley of Newington, Irena M Evans and her husband Keithe of Sauth Windsor, Zbigniew Miroslaw and his wife Anna of Glastonbury, Zdzislaw Miroslaw of East Hartford; her sister, Zofia Niegowski of Poland; eight grandchildren, Lisa Skowronek, Barbara Tomasulo, David Miroslaw, Maria, Teresa and Jan Miroslaw, Paulo and Caroline Golino, 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Roman Miroslaw, and three siblings. Her family will receive friends on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 8:30-9:30 a.m., at the Waszkelewicz South Green Memorial Home, 43 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford; a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church in Hartford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford. The Family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all that have offered comfort and concern to Stanislawa and her family.
