In earlier years, she delivered meals-on-wheels or was found answering phones at the senior center. She was a patron of both Rockville Hospital and Rockville Public Library. As part of the restorations of the Cogswell Fountain in downtown Rockville, she was responsible for seeing the return of Mr. Cogswell's statue on top of the fountain. Along with this, she contributed to the period lighting and street signs found within the area. Rosetta established a scholarship at Rockville High School for those entering the field of education and later was honored to be included in their Hall of Fame. Over the years, Rosetta was so appreciative for the many friends whose thoughtful, kind and caring deeds did not go unnoticed and allowed her to stay in her home. A loving "thank you" to Mary and Nani, two special caregivers.
