Rosemary Presch, 52, of Avon, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on November 7, 2016. Born in Spain, Rosemary was the beloved daughter of the late Francisco Perez and Josefa (Serrano) Perez. After her family's move to the U.S. in 1966, she grew up with a desire to learn and travel. Upon being awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Central Connecticut State University in 1999, she began work at The Hartford Financial Services Group. Rosemary, always a kind and generous soul, valued her time away from the office with her family and friends. She also had a very creative mind. Drawn in by literature, she was an avid collector and reader of books, and never lacked for new plays, movies, or lectures to enjoy. She treasured her family and was endlessly proud of all their accomplishments, especially those of her children, nephews and husband's nephews. Rosemary was a mentor to the younger generations in her family, always making time to allow her experiences in life to help or encourage the endeavors of others. Rosemary had a big heart and always showered the people she loved with affection. She was a very special and singular gift to everyone who knew her, and will always be loved and cherished. Rosemary is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Francis Presch; her daughter, Stephanie Presch; her son, Daniel Presch; her sister, Josephine Sempere; her nephews, Charles, Richard, David, and Michael; her brothers-in-law, John Presch and Bill Presch; and her nephews-in-law, Mike, John, Hanna, and Sam. A memorial service for Rosemary will be celebrated on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 10:00am at the Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center, 303 Tunxis Road, West Hartford. Guests are asked to go directly to the Retreat Center chapel on Saturday morning. The Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center of Avon is in care of the arrangements.
