Roger A. Mazel, 50, of Windsor, died peacefully on Thursday, ( May 27, 2010).

He was born on July 27, 1959 in Hartford, son of the late Custant J. “Cuggy” and Mary (Fortuna) Mazel. He was a life long resident of Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1977. After graduation he attended trade school and worked as a machinist, a truck driver, a cook and a devoted caregiver. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football and also fishing and playing the piano. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Poquonock. He leaves a brother Robert Mazel of Windsor and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Roger was a loving and caring  person and will be greatly missed.
 
Family and friends may gather Wednesday, June 2, 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock section of Windsor followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., in St. Joseph Church Poquonock. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Poquonock.
