Robert Anthony Charanian, 80 of South Windsor, peacefully passed away on February 1, 2017 at Manchester Manor. A resident of South Windsor for over 50 years, Bob was born in Hartford on November 9, 1936. He was a son of the late Anthony Charanian and Irene (Budnick) Charanian. Bob graduated from Hartford High School and was active in the Alumni Committee over the years. He remained connected to his classmates and enjoyed organizing and attending the reunions. Bob received his bachelor's degree from the University of Hartford and retired from Page 3 Products in Hartford after many years of loyal service. A frequent and enthusiastic visitor to Walt Disney World, Bob loved going with family and friends to enjoy the park and all its changing attractions. He was an avid baseball fan who closely followed the Chicago Cubs and was thrilled to live long enough to see them win the World Series in 2016! Memories of Bob's love and commitment to his family, his unyielding determination to find the best deals and fervent support of local businesses will always be remembered by those closest to him. He leaves three daughters, Robin, Kirsten, and Lorin, and their mother Linda; a son-in-law, Jeff and three adored grandchildren, Kasey, Brady, and Will. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Richard "Twitch" Charanian and two uncles, Johnny and Sarkis Charanian. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Berry Patch Clubhouse, 205 Oakland Rd., South Windsor, CT 06074.
