Richard G. "Jerry" Hodge, Jr., 67 of Suffield, beloved husband to Paula (Burke) Hodge, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Hodge, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth (Crum) Hodge, and was a graduate of Henry James Memorial High School in Simsbury with the class of 1965. Jerry proudly served as a volunteer fireman in Simsbury as well as East Hartland. Jerry volunteered for several organizations including building a track and running security for the Jim Calhoun ride. He drove the SAG wagon for the Hartford Marathon for many years.
