Pauline J. Guarco, 94, of Granby, beloved wife of the late Carl D. Guarco, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017. Born in Hartford to the late Angelo and Mary (Bighinatti) Pedemonti, she was raised in Hartford, graduating from Weaver High School, and lived most of her life in Bloomfield before settling in Granby over 43 years ago. Pauline was a member of St. Therese Church in Granby and enjoyed shopping with her friends, sewing, ceramics and reading, but her true passion was taking care of her family who will miss her dearly. Pauline is survived by her son Carl P. Guarco of Granby; her daughter Ellen Guarco of Granby; her sisters, Lillian Mason of South Windsor and Doris Frishman of Woodstock, IL; her grandchildren, Christopher Wilms, Kyle Guarco and Marcie Guarco; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Philip Wilms; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brother Louis Pedemonti. Her family will receive friends on Friday, February 24 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Hayes Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St Granby. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 9:15 AM Saturday, February 25 to process to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Therese Church, 120 West Granby Rd, Granby. Burial will follow in Granby Cemetery.
