Paul Santo Christo, 56, of Stafford Springs, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016, after a brief illness while at Manchester Memorial. Paul was born in Hartford on Aug. 2, 1960, to Tome and the late Dora (Althea) Santo Christo. He was raised in Vernon/Rockville for most of his life until moving to Stafford Springs for the last 27 years. Paul worked as a cabinetmaker with Petrunti Design & Woodworking out of West Hartford. Paul led an active lifestyle and loved adventure. He was truly an entertainer and was known by many as being a jokester. Paul loved to fish, go bowling, and BBQ on the grill. He was no stranger to camping and campfires; he was an all-around good guy. He loved his family involving himself as a coach and fan for many of their activities. Paul was known to be an avid New York fan with a love for both the Giants and the Yankees. He was a member of the Italian American Club in Stafford where he enjoyed matches of horseshoes as well. Paul was a wonderful, loving father and is survived by his three children; Christopher, Crystal, and Angela Santo Christo, and his beloved pitbull Willow. He also leaves behind his wife, Jo-Ann; his father, Tome Santo Christo; his sisters, Kim McCluskey and her husband, Doug and Cindy Mitchell and her husband, Kelly; and his brother, Steven. Paul shared a special bond with his nieces, Kelly and Jessica, his nephew, Jake and several other family members and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon, CT.
