Paul M. Vivolo, 54, of Rockville, beloved husband of Maria (Martinez) Vivolo, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 14, 2017. Born in Hartford, the son of the late John and Marilyn (Waterhouse) Vivolo, he grew up and lived in Wethersfield before moving to Rockville in 2008. He was a graduate of Wethersfield High School, Class of 1982. Paul was a police officer at Capital Community College in Hartford. He enjoyed writing poetry, and outdoor sports. He was a devoted and loving husband, and father to his step-daughter. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Frank John Vivolo of Rocky Hill; his step-children, Daniel Diaz of Charlotte, NC, Heidi Diaz of Fairview, NJ, and Christina Diaz of Rockville. His family will receive friends for calling hours on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road (Route 83), Vernon. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
