Olga E. (Danyluk) Slipski, 90, of Windsor Locks, beloved wife of the late Edward Slipski, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Windsor Locks, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Chowluk) Danyluk and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School. She had been employed by Bombardier for eight years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Windsor Locks Senior Citizens Club, Windsor Locks Quilting Club and a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Olga was the most thoughtful, generous and caring person who touched many people. Her strength was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed for her charismatic personality and witty sense of humor. Her passions were cooking, quilting and traveling and sharing her favorite recipes with family and friends. She leaves her children, Edward Slipski of Conway, NH and Steven Slipski and his wife Pamela of Riverton; four sisters, Mary Galvin, Theresa Lukach, Vera Jacobsen, a devoted sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Joseph Halloran, and many dear friends. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son Brian Slipski. A memorial mass will be held at 10 AM Monday, April 24 at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 South Elm St Windsor Locks followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Poquonock. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Olga's name to St. Robert Bellermine Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
