Mildred A. Rinaldi, 94, of Goffstown, NH, formerly of East Granby, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Rinaldi, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She was born September 3, 1921 in Windsor Locks to the late Joseph and Anne Ridel. She loved to read and watch her birds. She was a lady who had a lot of spunk, who made us all laugh and she loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will be missed. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Gardner and her husband Emile of Goffstown, NH; her son, Paul Rinaldi of Vancouver, BC, Canada; her grandchildren, Joseph Rinaldi of Vancouver, BC, Canada; Julia Rinaldi of Montreal, Canada; Debbie Jeske of San Diego, CA; Jennifer Williams and her husband Greg of San Diego; great grandchildren, Devin, Kyle and Quint Williams, as well as her special goddaughter, Kathleen Rose and grandson, Daniel Bellot of Davidson, NC. She also leaves her sister-in-laws, Jenny Otinsky of Bristol; her best friend, Caroline Rinaldi of Wilmington, SC and many nieces, nephews, extended family and her faithful companion, her little Maltese, Munchkin, who was always by her side. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Anne Hijack, Pauline Minch, Mary Spillane and her brothers, Joseph Ridel and Frank Ridel. A very special thank you to all who took care of her in this past year; from the special doctors and nurses at Catholic Medical Center, nurses at Hillsboro County Nursing Home, the VNA staff, especially Gail, who provided such loving and gentle care for the past 3 years. Mildred's family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, from 8 - 9:30 a.m. at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, in the Tariffville section of Simsbury. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Tariffville. Donations in Mildred's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Stroke Foundation, 5916 Dearborn St., Mission KS 66202.
