Maybell Evans, 75 of East Hartford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 08,2018 at her home. She was born in Plains, Georgia to Arthur and Carrie Bell (Woods) Evans. Maybell was a CNA at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted children, Valerie Evans, Donna Evans (Vaugh), George Evans, Colleen Evans (Alvia), Jeffrey Evans, Anthony Evans ( Tasmine), Sylvester Evans ( Carmen); her sisters and brothers, Hazel Adams, Arthur Lee Evans , Beluah Jowers, Williams Evans, and Marzell Evans; predeceased her, Lillie Belle Parker, Curtis Evans, Johnny Evans, Molly Ruth Dukes, Henry Lee Evans, Donna Kay Hawks. She also leaves fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; special friends Louvinea Henderson, Henry Drayton and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Grace Worship Center Church 750 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, CT at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am, burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Bloomfield, CT
