Mary (Lenilko) Coppolo, 82, of West Suffield, beloved wife of Pasquale E. Coppolo, died peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital. She was born on September 22, 1929, in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia (Demidovich) Lenilko. Mary was a graduate of Commerce High School with the Class of 1947. She worked for the General Adjustment Bureau and Howett Insurance Agency both in Springfield and was a private bookkeeper in Suffield. In 1955 she was married to Pasquale E. Coppolo and together they settled in West Suffield, where they raised their family. A homemaker she raised her children, was active with the PTA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and worked as secretary for the family business Clark C. Collins Adjustors. Mary was an avid reader, a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing and knitting. She could read, speak and write the Russian language a piece of her heritage. Along with her husband of over 55 years, Pasquale, she leaves her children, Christopher Coppolo and his wife Nancy of W. Suffield, Matthew Coppolo of E. Granby, Tanya Boushee and her husband Kevin of E. Granby, Patricia Coppolo of Suffield and Melissa Goossens and her husband Mark of Hampden, MA; her sister, Tanya Oswald of Springfield; and 9 grandchildren, Anastasia, Amanda, Adamo, Gabriella, Dante, Lorenzo, Alessandro, Bryan and Christopher. She was predeceased by her brothers, John and Charles Lenilko of Springfield, MA.
