Mark Bramley, 54, of Windsor, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Born in Harford to the late Archie and Stephanie (Buksa) Bramley, he was a graduate of Windsor High School and a Windsor resident most of his life. Mark was a self employed roofing contractor and handyman to all his friends and neighbors and for the past 18 years he was known as the Mayor of Birchwood Road. Mark cared deeply about his friends and had a great sense of humor he loved to use. He loved spending time at Rainbow Reservoir, working on his garden, taking his dogs truck riding and being with those he loved. Mark was the beloved partner, soul mate and best friend to Deirdre Rossing with whom he made his home, her daughter Katheryn, and his beloved dogs Dakota and Jet. He leaves his sister Laurie Lemrise and her husband Mark of Worthington, MA and their children Heather and Jason; his sister Jayne Bramley of Windsor; and his brothers Gregory Bramley of Indianapolis, IN and Steven Bramley of Hartford. He also leaves his cherished nephew Michael Bramley of East Granby whom he considered his son, along with his wife Rebecca and his treasured great nephew Caiden. His family will receive friends on Friday, June 24 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave, Poquonock, followed by funeral service at 7 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Friends of Windsor Animal Care & Control, PO Box 382, Windsor, CT 06095.
