Marieannette (Bergeron) M. Myott, 81, of Rockville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Rockville General Hospital. She was born on May 11, 1937 in Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Alde and Georgianna Desrosiers Bergeron. Marie moved to Richford, Vermont as a young girl with her family. She was married to the love of her life, Ronald J. Myott in 1960; they settled in Rockville in 1969. Marie owned and operated “Meme’s Day Care” in Vernon for over 30 years. She had a love for people, especially children. She also loved animals, most especially her dog “Peanut”. Marie had a big heart and was always willing to lend a hand or donate to any good cause. She enjoyed crocheting, macrame, Danielle Steele romance novels, puzzles, dancing, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved frogs, hummingbirds, Elvis Presley, and watching criminal tv shows. Marie was a kind, caring, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many, and will be dearly missed. She leaves her daughters, Lisa M. Myott of Vernon, and Monique M. Yorgensen and her husband Daniel of Stafford Springs; her brother, Fernand Bergeron and his wife Rachael of W. Lebanon, NH; her grandchildren, Ashlee Fluckiger, Taylor Hildebrand, Paxton Myott-Colello, Alyssa Yorgensen, Alexia Yorgensen and Veda Lily Feliciano; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and 12 other siblings. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ladd Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd., Vernon, CT 06066. Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, 9 a.m., at the funeral home; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Bernard Church.
