Linda Eleanor (Moore) Muscaro, 58, of New Hartford, beloved wife of Richard E. Muscaro, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Bristol, daughter of Albert and Freda (Keddy) Moore of Burlington, she was raised in Burlington, and graduated from Lewis Mill High School, Class of 1976. She earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Northwest Community College and worked with the STAR Program at Lewis S. Mills High School. She started home day care, founding the Sugar Leaf Day Care. She worked in the Headstart program at Pearson School in Winsted teaching English as a second language and had been a volunteer with the Winsted Soup Kitchen. She enjoyed gardening and of course being with her family. Besides her husband Richard to whom she had been married for 39 years, and her parents, she leaves three sons Nathan Muscaro (Rebecca) of New Hartford, Aaron Muscaro (Elissa) and Stephen Muscaro (Alexis) all of Torrington; her daughter Lisa Dyer (Ryan) of New Hartford; eight grandchildren Adam and Melissa Muscaro; Summer Muscaro; Logan, Wyatt, and Blake Dyer; and Hunter and Haylee Muscaro; three brothers Albert Moore, Jr. (Marion) of Canton, James Moore (Eileen) Vernon, and Jeffrey Moore of Farmington; two sisters Dorrie Lowery (Thomas) of Bristol and Evelyn Keller (James) of Barkhamsted; and many nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec 29, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 10 am at Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Road, Avon. Burial will be in Center Cemetery Burlington.
