On Monday, April 10, 2017, we lost our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and hero to his kids. Kyle Roger Courser, 34, of Granby, son of Robert and Kathleen Courser, was born on November 28, 1982, in Hartford. He was raised in Granby and attended Granby Memorial High School. After high school, he and his friend, Jason Landheer, both sons of carpenters, started 2nd Generation Carpentry. He worked throughout the Farmington Valley remodeling homes and was well-known for his meticulous attention to detail. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his ATV and motorcycle, spending summers at his family's cottage in Charlestown, RI, and in recent years bowling on Wednesdays. He loved his friends and thought of them as family and always enjoyed having a good time and living life "full-throttle". Kyle always joked and commonly referred to his father as "Old Man", his mother as "Ma", and his "Outlaws" as "Pops" and Nancy. Most of all, Kyle will be remembered as a family man who enjoyed spending every minute with his wife and children. He leaves his loving wife, Michelle M. Courser of Granby; his parents, Robert and Kathleen Courser of Granby; his son, Tyler John "TJ"; his daughter, Hailey Elizabeth; his brother, Keith Courser and his girlfriend, Rima of Tucson, AZ; his sister, Katie Courser and her boyfriend Andrew of Granby; his paternal grandmother whom he referred to as "Nana", Billie Courser of Simsbury; his maternal grandmother whom he referred to as "Grandma Pat", Patricia Peling of Simsbury; his maternal great grandmother, Doris Luma of Orlando, FL; his father and mother-in-law, John and Nancy Ann French of Granby; his sister-in-law, Ann Marie Therault and her husband Steve of Windsor; two nieces, Brooke Courser and Nicki Therault; a nephew, Johnny Therault; his faithful companion, "Billy"; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and all his good buddies. His family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. A celebration of his life will follow at his parent's home in Granby. Burial will be in Granby Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Kyle's family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Kyle Courser Children's Scholarship Fund, c/o Windsor Federal Savings, 250 Broad St., Windsor, CT 06095 or to a Go Fund Me account that has been established in his memory,
