Judith Schultz, 84, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center & Fenwood Manor in Manchester. Born in Hawley, Pennsylvania on September 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Alice (Painter) Schultz, Judy grew up and lived in Hawley and Vandling Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Windsor Locks in 1954 where she lived until moving to Manchester in 1970. After arriving in Connecticut, she worked at the Montgomery Co in Windsor Locks and then at Aetna Casualty until her retirement in 1994. Judy loved to putter around her house, enjoyed golfing and spending time with her best friend, Lorraine White, and was an amazing painter, calligrapher, and wood carver, but she will be best known for her devotion to her sister Connie who passed away in 2015. Judy's heart left her that day and they are now having a joyful reunion. Judy's family is thankful for the care she received at Crestfield and especially for the compassion of her longtime nurses, Maura and Amanda, among others. Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 10 am at Springdale Cemetery, Main Street, East Windsor. Memorial donations in Judy's memory may be made to MARC Incorporated of Manchester, 151 Sheldon Road, Manchester, CT 06042. Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home in South Windsor is caring for the arrangements. For online condolences and guest book, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
