Judith "Judy" Ann Hollm, 82, of Bloomfield, beloved wife for 61 years of the late Martin Hollm, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2017, surrounded by her family at Hartford Hospital. Born in Stamford on December 17, 1934, daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Brown) Satin, she was raised in Stamford and was a graduate of Stamford High School, Class of 1952. After high school, Judy continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry, where she received an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. After her graduation, she and her husband returned to Connecticut and lived in West Hartford and Simsbury for many years before retiring to Boynton Beach, FL. After returning to Connecticut to be closer to her family, she lived with her son in North Granby and most recently in Bloomfield. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards, golfing, and spending time with her friends in her community in Florida, Indian Springs and in Bloomfield, Federation Homes. Most of all, Judy will be remembered for her love of family, especially her children and grandchildren. She leaves two sons, Steven Hollm and his wife Martha of North Granby and Richard Hollm and his wife Kim of Monument, CO; a daughter, Donna Fisher and her husband Simon of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Margie Zubrinsky and her husband Fred of Norwalk; seven grandchildren, Sarah Hollm of Sunnyvale, CA, David Hollm and Samuel Hollm both of North Granby; Laurie Smith and her husband Garrett of Denver, CO, Brian Hollm of Fort Collins, CO, and Melanie and Brandon Fisher both of Tuscon, AZ; and two nephews, Todd Zubrinsky and his wife Mary of Easton and Mark Zubrinsky and his wife Stephanie of Charlotte, NC. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, April 23, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:30 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 1463 Highland Ave., Cheshire, CT 06410 or to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford, CT 06492.
