Joseph Clement, 86, of Windsor Locks, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. He was born in Holyoke, MA, son of the late Romeo and Ernestine (Brunette) Clement, and enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17. Joe met his wife Jean while working for Hamilton Standard. He was an easy going man who valued the simple pleasures of life and lived each day eagerly awaiting his next two-week vacation. Joe loved Aruba and traveled to the same location for ten years in a row, receiving from the natives the honorable title of "Distinguished Guest." He enjoyed the time spent wading in the clear water, watching ships come into port, and feeling the warm sand between his toes. Joe loved his family, and he was a devoted husband for 55 years and a loving and protective father to his two daughters. He is loved and mourned by his wife Jean Clement, daughters Karen Lockery and Diane Carlos and her husband Buz, all of Windsor Locks; three grandchildren, Travis McDonald and his fiancée Krystle Williamson, Amanda McDonald and her fiancé John Price, Daniel Lockery and two great-granddaughters, Lily and Ryleigh McDonald. Joe also leaves his mother-in-law Leona Moskewich, brother-in-law David Moskewich, sister-in-law Anita Brown and Dave Walker as well as three nieces and three nephews, Bobbi, Margie, Jeff, Andrea, Michael, and Christopher. Joe's family will receive friends at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave., Windsor on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
