Joseph C. DeRosa, 76, of Manchester formerly of South Windsor. Beloved husband of Pamila (Anselmo) DeRosa died unexpectedly on October 19, 2017. Joseph was born in Northampton, MA. He was the son of the late John and Muriel (Baranowski) DeRosa. Joe was a proud retired Charter Member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 676 for which he once served as President. He was an avid New York Giants and NASCAR fan. Joseph also volunteered his time for Food Share. Joe enjoyed fishing, clamming, taking his chances with lottery scratch tickets and hanging around "The Farm". In addition to his wife Pamila, Joseph leaves behind his son; Allen DeRosa and his partner Maureen Madden of Manchester, his daughter Lynn Robsky and her partner Steven Freeman of South Windsor and his sister, Donna and her husband George Griggs of Somers. He also leaves behind his cherished granddaughters Hayley and Molli. In addition to his parents and step father, Joseph was pre-deceased by his sister Dawne Martin. Services for Joseph will be private and at the convenience of the family. Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home has care of the arrangements.
