Jeannette Marie (Brodeur) Lacerte, 95, of Springfield, wife for 49 years of the late Joseph R. Lacerte, passed away peacefully on Friday, (March 23, 2012). Born in Worcester on September 5, 1916, daughter of the late Eugene and Clara (Roi) Brodeur, she was raised in Worcester and had lived in Springfield for many years. She was a graduate of St. Ann's Academy in Marlborough and the Salter School of Business in Worcester. Jeannette worked at the Electrolux Corporate office in Springfield before her retirement after 25 years of service. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Springfield. She leaves a son, Eugene Lacerte and his wife Marilyn of South Windsor, CT; a daughter, Louise Leventis and her husband William of Longmeadow; her grandchildren, Nicholas Leventis of Stamford, CT and Aimée Leventis of Boston. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff at the Julian J. Leavitt Jewish Nursing Home for all of their expert care and support over the last 6 years.
