Hollis R. Harlow, III (Lee), of Granby, passed away on September 8, 2016, from injuries suffered in an accident. Lee was born September 1, 1955, in Hartford, Connecticut, the youngest son of Hollis R. Harlow Jr and Jessamine Welles Harlow. Lee lived in Granby all his life, attending Granby schools and later working at Kelly Lane school, where he was known as Mr. Lee! Lee leaves his partner, Robert Jones, his step mother, Gloria Harlow, his oldest sister, June Harlow Clark, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his beloved black lab, Andy. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Johnny and his sister Virginia Harlow Seavers. Lee was loved by all who knew him and will be sincerely missed. A memorial service to celebrate Lee's life will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 1 PM at Hayes Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook Street, Granby. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
