He was born and raised in the Bronx, NY, the son of the late Bendt and Ingrid Jantzen. He and Jean lived in Jericho, NY before moving to Vernon twelve years ago. Henry was a loving husband of nearly 65 years to his wife, Jean, and was her devoted caregiver for six years after she suffered from a stroke until she passed in July of 2015. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Abo and her husband, Richard, of Glastonbury, his three grandchildren, Megan, Kristy and Eric, and many nieces and nephews. Henry was also predeceased by his daughter, Dorothy Jantzen, and his brother, Bendt Jantzen, Jr. Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of his family.
