Elizabeth "Bee Bee" (Dubiel) Levay, 93, of Windsor and formerly of Weatogue, beloved wife of the late Joseph Levay, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 at Kimberly Hall. Born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Bladek) Dubiel, she grew up and lived in Hartford and Weatogue before moving to Windsor eleven years ago. Elizabeth was proud of her Polish heritage and her education at SS Cyril & Methodius School in Hartford. She was a graduate of Hartford High School, Class of 1942. She was a longtime member of SS Cyril & Methodius Church. Elizabeth was a mother to all her nieces and nephews, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a special niece, Suzanne Donnellan of Manchester; two sisters-in-law, Marge Dubiel of Avon, and Janet Dubiel of South Windsor, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and godchildren. She was predeceased by five brothers, and three sisters. Her family would like to thank all the staff at Kimberly Hall South, Fairfield Unit, for the wonderful care they provided. Her family will receive friends for calling hours on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. directly at SS Cyril & Methodius Church, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
