Edith A. (Graves) Carpenter, 77, of Windsor Locks passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Monday, August 24, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clyde (Dick) Carpenter, 2 daughters, Alice Quagliaroli and her husband Gary of Windsor Locks and Laurie Carpenter of Longmeadow, MA, her son Larry Carpenter of Windsor Locks, her sister and best friend Nancy Verizzi and her husband Rich of Hebron, CT, cousin Nona Neall and her husband of Pennsylvania; 2 brothers, Earl and Richard Graves. She dearly loved and enjoyed her 9 grandchildren, Sage, Kristi, and Brandi Carpenter, Mike and Tim Quagliaroli and his wife Kristen, Mathew Renouf, Valeria Symonds, Jordan and Alex English as well as many nieces, nephews, "adopted daughters", and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home on located at 1816 Poquonock Ave., on Saturday, August 29th from 10am to 12pm. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 12pm.
