Dylan Michael Ducey, 20, of Vernon-Storrs, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Born in Manchester Hospital on June 29, 1997, he was the beloved son of Carl E. Ducey Jr. of Vernon, and the late Gerlyn (Corriveau) Ducey. Dylan attended Northeast School, VCMS in Vernon and Rockville High School. He also attended E.O. Smith in Storrs. He liked to fish, BMX bike, go up north to Vermont, and play his drums. Dylan had a passion for dirt biking and four-wheel drive vehicles. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his brother Cody. Dylan will be remembered as a kind and caring soul who liked to help others. He is survived by his brother, Cody R. Ducey of Vernon; his grandmother, Joyce L. Corriveau of Storrs; his uncles, Donald F. Corriveau Jr. and his wife Marie of Cheshire and Michael J. Corriveau of Tolland; his aunt, Anne C. Ducey of East Hartford. In addition to his mother, Dylan was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Donald F. Corriveau, and his paternal grandmother Dorothy A. Gasparini. Dylan also leaves many friends and extended family, and two special friends, Jack, and Bandit. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Saint Bernard Cemetery, Route 74 and Kingsbury Avenue, Vernon. Family and friends will be received following services at the Italian American Friendship Club, 48 Kingsbury Road, Tolland, Connecticut 06084.
