Diane Lynn Geyer, 56, of Avon, CT passed away suddenly at her home on April 11, 2017. Diane was born in New Haven, the beloved daughter of George Geyer and Patricia (Hawkins) Tremblay. She was raised in Avon and enjoyed making the town her home in her older years. Diane was a generous soul who always put the needs of others before her own. She loved to smile and laugh, which made it very easy for her to make friends. Diane was an animal lover and cared for her two adored cats, and found many peaceful moments at the beach or enjoying flowers in the spring time. She truly loved her family and they will always remember her kindhearted spirit. Diane is survived by her parents, George Geyer and his wife Georgia, and Patricia Tremblay and her husband Louis; her brothers, Gregory A. Geyer and wife Cindy of Dalton, MA, and Bradford S. Geyer and wife Vanessa of New Britain; many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; her good friend, Joe Carpenter; and her two furry friends, Nip and Tuck. Diane's family and close friends may gather on Saturday, April 15 from 2-3:30PM at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon.
