David James Levesque died Monday morning, April 2, 2017 at Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead, London as a result of throat cancer. Born in Hartford on June 8, 1964, the son of Virginia Levesque Vedeski, he graduated from Windsor High School in 1982. He had numerous jobs in his career in the Connecticut area, he also joined the US Marine Corps Reserves for 6 years. David was a member of the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department for a number of years, where he later became Lieutenant for a short time. His hobbies were traveling, diving, fishing, hunting, skiing, and sports. He is survived by his mother Virginia Vedeski, his step-father and best friend, Stanley Vedeski, his sister Brenda Levesque, all of Windsor. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Carmon Funeral Home at a later date. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 5:30 PM, Wednesday, May 24 at St. Gabriel Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations in David's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St. I-91 Tech Ctr. Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
