Bonnie Thompson Enes, age 71 went to rest peacefully on September 8, 2016 after her strong fight with cancer. Bonnie was born October 27, 1944 to the late Charles and Virginia Enes of South Windsor. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, biking, hiking and the beach where she would sit by the water's edge with her toes in the sand. She and her daughter shared their passion for photography and love for animals. Bonnie, a writer, photographer and collage artist was Poet Laureate of South Windsor. Her work was published in numerous anthologies. She is survived by her brothers Michael Enes Sr., Charles Enes and sister Patricia Enes;her son Fred Andreoli and daughter and son-in-law Ginger and Nick Muscarella; three grandchildren, one grand dog, her lovely tortoise cat Jude, and a number of other relatives and close friends. Her daughter is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support from close friends and family, too many to name. Funeral services will be private at the request of her family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Bonnies honor to the Tyler Regional Animal Care Shelter, c/o South Windsor Police Department, 151 Sand Hill Rd., South Windsor, CT 06074.
