Betty Wiles Ohlheiser, 86, of Avon, CT, beloved wife of Robert J. Ohlheiser, Jr., for 65 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, July 23, 2017. Betty loved her community and supported philanthropic endeavors through her membership in the Connecticut Chapter D of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and the Friends of Elizabeth Park. In 1989, Betty and Bob moved to Avon and became active members at the West Avon Congregational Church. Above all, Betty was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed entertaining, playing bridge, knitting, and playing golf with Bob and her friends at Farmington Woods. She loved to explore and travel as well as going to concerts and art exhibits. She was a member and officer of the Town and County Club. With all of her life’s passions and accomplishments, her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
