Tribute & Message From The Family

Eula Cooper McNair, 83 of Norwich departed this earth on July 1, 2017 in Norwich. She was the widow of Jerry McNair Sr. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Alfred and Lula Young Cooper on July 20, 1933, “Sissy” was a loving and generous mother, wife, and friend. As a former manager, State of Connecticut Department of Labor, and later as a volunteer, she went beyond the requirements of her job to support ways to help persons find employment. She was a founding member of the Community Resource Center, Norwich and volunteered time to non-profit agencies dedicated to assisting homeless persons and those providing employment-related services. She was a SFC (retired) CT National Guard. Mrs. McNair leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Cynthia Cooper; sons Jerry McNair Jr. and Steven McNair; grandchildren, Jerry McNair III and Ebony Ricketts-Skyers and 5 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law Marion Victorian of Toledo, Ohio and a host of other relatives and loved ones. Mrs. McNair was predeceased by her husband Jerry McNair Sr. and son Gregory McNair. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10 AM, at Latter Rain Christian Latter Rain Christian Fellowship Church, 3200 Main St, Hartford, CT 06120

I just read this. I am very sad to hear of the passing of Eula. She was a customer of mine at Hoffman Audi. I always looked forward to her coming in. She could always put a smile on your face. Some people leave a lasting impression, she was one of those. My condolences to all her friends and family. God Bless.

I had the pleasure of meeting Eula both at Otis Library and when I delivered her books. Her love of books and knowledge was an inspiration and she will be missed. May her memory be eternal.
