Condolence & Memory Journal

My sincerest sympathy to Virginia's entire family upon her death. She was a great person and will be missed by us all. I saw her recently while we were grocery shopping and enjoyed a brief conversation with her. I was thinking of you this afternoon and wished that I could have been with you.

Virginia and Uncle Phil left behind an amazing legacy in their large , wonderful and talented family. I know they are so proud of each and every one of you. To raise 7 children required stamina, resilience, a lot of love and a constant stream of good humor which she seems to have passed down. To reach 90 is a great milestone and she did it gracefully and gratefully. I am so happy to have been able to see and talk with Aunt Virginia at her special birthday party .She looked like a million bucks and so happy with all her family around her!! She will be missed! My love and prayers to all. Helen

I will always remember Aunt Virginia and I will cherish our last conversation only weeks before her passing..
She loved her family and her hometown of Windsor and did not venture far from either but she was content. Her calm demeanor in the midst of raising 7 children served her well and she relished all 19 grandchildren. She enjoyed painting as a hobby for a while and she told me she had given some of her paintings to her family and hoped that they would savour them after she was gone.. No doubt there was not much time just for her in such a busy household but her love for reading prevailed and it was said that she could be found reading a beloved book in the midst of what might appear to others as family chaos! No wonder she lived til 90 in good health until just recently. Her brave acceptance of her terminal situation and her calculated and matter of fact approach to her final days is a testament to who she was..an independent woman who took life and its knocks in stride..She will be dearly missed by all and she was much loved too.. I am glad i told her so.. Sending love and deepest sympathy to all the family... Judy and Larry
