I'm so sad to hear of Shawn's mother passing. Shawn and I dated in college for a short period of time. I met her mother and she was a nice lady. Deepest condolences.

I had the great fortune of having Mrs. Ball as my second grade and fourth grade teacher. (I was so excited to have her twice!!) She was my favorite teacher of all time. I have so many fond memories of singing songs from Annie and The Sound of Music while she played the piano. I can picture her loving, beautiful smile in my mind as I type this. She was a wonderful, kind person and as a teacher made me feel special and loved. I am sorry for your loss and am thinking of you all. What a blessing it was to have known her...

So sad to hear the news. I'll never forget Mrs. Ball saying, "Oh sugar-bushes!" in the classroom - what a great teacher she was!

A beautiful and very fitting words about a very dear woman. I will miss her. For many years in the 60's - 80's she was my "go to person".
My sincere sympathy to all her family and also to SO many other's whose lives I know she touched.
